Through support from generous donors the Idaho FFA Foundation has awarded $41,000 in college scholarships and $10,500 in Washington Leadership Conference Scholarships. A total of 37 students from 20 different chapters across the state were recipients.
Each year the Idaho FFA Foundation awards college scholarships to Idaho FFA members graduating from high school or enrolled in college. There are six different scholarship funds, funded from a variety of sources including tractor raffle ticket sales, endowments, and private industry support. Each fund has its own set of requirements for recipients, allowing for students from different backgrounds and interested in different pathways to receive funding to turn their goals into reality.
Washington Leadership Conference scholarships are awarded to FFA members currently in their sophomore or junior year of high school. Three different funds, each with two scholarships, are given to students to pay for their registration and travel to and from the Washington Leadership Conference hosted in Washington D.C. over the summer by the National FFA Organization.
Congratulations to the following students and thank you to the people and organizations that make these scholarships possible!
